I was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and I come from a background of working class people.  I served honorably for 9.6 years in the U.S. Air Force and 3 years in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.  I worked diligently to self-finance my education and earned my Bachelor of Science degree in finance from W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. 

 

In June 2009, I began working for the State of California as an Employment Program Representative adjudicating unemployment claims for the Employment Development Department (EDD).  Currently, I work as an Associate Governmental Program Analyst for for the California Debt and Investment Advisory Commission in the State Treasurer's Office.   

 

I believe in serving the greater good before my individual desires. I make strong financial decisions and have the courage and determination to fight the "good" fight and see things through. I am a dedicated visionary who can motivate and inspire others. I am true to my word, and I will always stand for what is right and just.
